I value your privacy. And, of course, mine.
We know that buzzing around the world of the internet are miscreants and hackers and –you know, da bad guys.
So I use SSL (encryption) and security to protect us.
I collect your name and email address so I can send you notices of new books and/or infrequent news if any. If you don’t want to hear from me, just click unsubscribe at the bottom of any newsletter.
My hosting company sends me basic data on who accesses my site. This information is not traceable to any individual. Also, search engines track website visitors, but this information is generic in nature and not traceable to an individual. My anti-spam is handled by SpamAssasin and CleanTalk, so my site does share information with them. They collect name, address, and ip address to avoid robots. We love visitors, but not robots. Sorry, robots.
By the way, this site is hosted in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, I’m delighted. Just know you are consenting to the transfer of your information to the United States for processing and maintenance in accordance with this privacy notice, and are consenting to application of U.S. law in all matters concerning the site.
Again, I value your privacy, so I want to do everything I can to protect it. As Sgt. Esterhaus always said in Hill Street Blues, “Let’s be careful out there.”
